Product Description:

Egyptian IQF strawberries are carefully selected at the appropriate stage of ripeness, washed, sorted and individually quick frozen to preserve their natural color, flavor, texture and appearance. They are suitable for retail, food-service, bakery, desserts, beverages and food-processing applications, with different grades, sizes and cuts available according to buyer requirements.

Varieties / Types:

Festival and Fortuna are commonly available Egyptian varieties, with other varieties such as Sensation available according to supply and buyer requirements.

Available forms include whole calibrated, whole uncalibrated, halves, slices and diced strawberry. Typical whole-fruit size ranges include 15–25 mm, 25–35 mm and 35–45 mm.

Packaging:

10 kg export cartons with inner polyethylene bags are commonly used for bulk shipments. Retail and food-service formats such as 400 g, 800 g, 1 kg, 2 kg, 2.5 kg and 5 kg can also be supplied according to buyer requirements.
