Product Description:

Fresh Egyptian peppers are crisp, firm and naturally flavorful vegetables supplied for fresh consumption, retail, foodservice and processing applications. They are carefully harvested, sorted and graded by color and size according to buyer requirements. Egyptian export programs commonly include green, red, yellow and orange bell peppers, as well as hot pepper types.

Bell peppers can be supplied as single-color packs or mixed-color “traffic light” packs. Commercial calibers may include approximately 70–85 mm, 85–100 mm and 100 mm.

Packaging:

4–5 kg export cartons, plastic crates or other export packaging according to destination and buyer requirements.
Single-color or mixed-color cartons can be supplied, with retail formats available upon request.

Availability / Season:

Generally available from October/November to May/June, with strong export availability during the winter months. Exact availability varies by variety, production system and growing conditions.
